Create sub domain

Hi,
Currently my application is hosted to http://hordeflowhr.apphb.com. Is it possible to add subdomains/subhost to it? For example, I have to prefix an asterisk to the current hostname like this: *.hordeflowhr.apphb.com and will still point to http://hordeflowhr.apphb.com. So, if open it in the browser like http://sample.hordeflowhr.apphb.com, it would still work. Lastly, if the above is possible, does it cost anything?

    Hi,

So currently we don't support subdomains on the application's default hostname (e.g. *.foobar.apphb.com), but you could just associate your own hostnames with the app. This will give you more control over the domain and it sounds like that's be best in any case., but you can still point a wildcard/subdomain to the CNAME for your app (i.e. hordeflowhr.apphb.com).

You can likely just add a wildcard hostname pointing to that with your DNS settings, and then make sure it's added on AppHarbor as well (e.g. *.your-custom-hostname.com) so it responds to traffic on those domains as well. The price for custom hostnames associated with an app is $10/month.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with!

    Best,
    Rime
