Creating new apps requires me to verify with a credit card?

Is that a new requirement? I don't remember that being there before

    Hi,

    Yes we recently introduced the requirements to add a credit card for verification of users of the free service as well. We've had to take certain measures such as this to prevent abuse of the free tier and services/add-ons available on the platform.

    We may refine this in the future, but for now you'll have add a credit card to use the service. As usual you'll of course only be charged if you subscribe to paid services.
