Call For Help (Totally not desperate) :
Does anyone has a example to run node and express on appharbor?? (code or maybe even a basic solution)
I would also like to try socket.io, anyone with experience here?

Unfortunately every google search i do keeps landing me on the https://blog.appharbor.com/2012/01/19/announcing-node-js-support blog post, from witch the node example code has been removed. Nor can i find any other info then posted there.

I have some projects already worked out in node and it would be really cool to take it to the next lvl and host it up there :)

Greetings,

I use this as webconfig (see below) WATCH OUT: logging is still enabled.
Also i had to add "use strict"; in node app. As it gave me some errors using ECMAScript 6.

I also got socket io running like it was supposed to.
Also don't forget to activate "File system write access" in settings of appharbor.

Also don't forget to push the packages as well And Don't forget to add security tags in web.config

I hope this can help some people with this post.

stigit2tag:support.appharbor.com,2010-11-23:Comment/424976882017-05-11T21:01:42Z2017-05-11T21:01:42ZNode.js + express

Hi Stigit2,

You're right, documentation is fairly limited for the node.js integration, but I'm glad you figured it out and shared your solution for others to benefit from!

Best,
