Slow internet speed?!

Tried to make my app download a 3 MB file and it took about a minute or something. As far as I know the service is hosted on Amazon AWS, so why is the speed that slow? Is it limited or am I having issues?

    Hi,

    I'd assume that the service you're uploading to may not accept faster upload speeds? The application is hosted on instances with fast network connections (on AWS) so that shouldn't be the bottleneck.
