<p>Your connection string is only injected in your
<code>web.config</code> file when the application is deployed.
However, you don't need the configuration file to get the
configuration file - the connection string is in the text box just
below the "This is the connection string that will be injected by
AppHarbor" text you referred to (on the SQL server settings
page).</p>
<p>You can also find the application and add-on configuration
variables injected by AppHarbor on the "Configuration Variables"
page. There's a few ways you can initialize a database connection
based on these variables, and I'd recommend <a href="https://support.appharbor.com/kb/add-ons/using-sequelizer">reading
this knowledge base article</a> for more information.</p>
