Multiple applications attached to a single GitHub Repository?

Is it possible to have multiple AppHarbor applications that are based on a single GitHub Repository (to separate out debug, demo, release environments, for instance)? We have one AppHarbor application attached to a repository, but when we try to add a bridge from the second AppHarbor application to the same repository, we receive a 500 Server error with no details.

    Hi,

It's possible to connect a single GitHub repository to multiple AppHarbor applications, but the AppHarbor user that creates the bridge needs to be an administrator on all the applications you want to configure.

I can't access your GitHub repository's service hook configuration to see if there's something wrong. However you can actually also just add the application slugs directly to the service hook configuration on GitHub. You can find the information necessary to configure it, and where to do it, in this knowledge base article.

Sorry to revive this thread, but I have two appharbor apps (one for test, one for production). It seems I can only add one AppHarbor integration in github. Once I have added the first Appharbor integration, I can only update that one, not add another one...

How do you get multiple appharbors apps connected to the same github repo?

    Hi,

Happy to help! What happens when you try and add the second repository? Also, is the GitHub account and the AppHarbor account the same of do they differ?

    1. Basically, I don't have the option to add a second AppHarbor
    integration: https://gyazo.com/a5b840e732e1afacfc37eab5ee70874f

    2. If I edit the AppHarbor integration, I see this:
https://gyazo.com/957773ab89c591e21d3d89440bb0c3b7 There is no option to
    add.

    Hi,

Ok have you tried just appending the new application slug after the existing one, and click "Update service"? That's how AppHarbor adds multiple apps if the automated setup works... It's essentially step 3 in the service description from your second screenshot!

No worries, I'm glad it worked out and please don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything else I can help with.
