Increase instances?

I've been looking at various platforms (Heroku, Azure, AppEngine, etc), and most of them provide a way to increase the number of instances running. Can you do the same in AppHarbor? I see the number under the app settings, but is there a way to change it? Or is it automatic?

    Hi,

    While it is actually possible to scale applications on AppHarbor, we're not currently exposing it through the interface. Additional instances will be a paid service and it will become available when we introduce payments.
