do you have in place any high-availability solutions for paid MS SQL databases such as database mirroring, replication etc?
in other words, how do you deal with the situation if the server where client happens to have his database on crashes.
what is the uptime rate for your service for let's say past 3 months?
I'm impressed by AppHarbor so far and I think I'm ready to sign up for paid account if you take availability and redundancy seriously.

For high-availability database scenarios, we currently recommend you use our MySQL-offering. It's based on the multi-availability-zone Amazon RDS product, and is highly available.
Currently, for Microsoft SQL Server databases, we take daily backups (stored in S3) that can be restored fairly quickly in case of a problems with a particular server.
We would be able to offer a dedicated, redundant Microsoft SQL Server setup for you, but with current EC2 pricing, that would cost upwards of $1000/month.
The appharbor.com site (which is itself hosted on the AppHarbor platform) has had a fairly consistent uptime of 99.99% since we started. Sites hosted on AppHarbor that are updated less frequently, often have uptimes of 100%.
We taken availability very seriously, and have engineered the AppHarbor platform with that goal in mind.
Let us know if you other questions.
