AppHarbor stopped picking up my Bitbucket pushes!

Been using AppHarbor with Bitbucket with great success for several weeks.

I upgraded my local Mercurial client to 1.8.2, and all of a sudden it all stopped working. Not sure if the upgrade is related to this issue, or if AppHarbor itself is having problems.

I didn't change anything at Bitbucket or AppHarbor whatsoever -- just upgraded Hg on my dev machine is all. Bitbucket is receiving the pushes just fine. However, for some reason AppHarbor is not picking up the changesets I'm pushing to Bitbucket. It just stopped.

Please advise.

  1. Hi Lee,

I don't think the issue is related to your local Mercurial client being upgraded. I wanted to let you know that we're investigating why your changesets are not being picked up from BitBucket. We'll get back to you as soon as we've figured it out.

    Thanks for reporting this.

    Best,
    Rune

  2. So, you are saying that this is a problem for others as well, or just me?

  3. Yeah after I wrote you last time we've seen the same errors from all BitBucket pushes. It seems like they've changed the POST service, which is the one we use to get notifications of new changesets.

  4. How nice of them to notify you. ;)

  5. Bitbucket has fixed their POST service and I've just confirmed that the AppHarbor integration works again. Let us know if you encounter any problems.
