unable to create triggers in mysql + need to create multiple users on the db

Need super user permission to create triggers on the mysql db.
this is the error that i get while running the create trigger though mysql work bench
Error Code: 1419
You do not have the SUPER privilege and binary logging is enabled (you might want to use the less safe log_bin_trust_function_creators variable)

now to turn off binary logging (not advisable however), it still require the super user privilege.

Also,
my app also need different db users (not just the default user provided up on db creation). is that possible with app harbor mysql db?

  1. All privileges except for the "event" and the "grant option" are enabled. For security considerations, we can't currently allow these two as well.

I believe you should be able to create a trigger though. Try executing the SQL manually (or send the failing SQL to us). You will not be able to disable binary logging, however.

We currently only offer a single login per database, but plan to offer a read-only login as well. Feel free to suggest have customizable logins at http://feedback.appharbor.com/
