Hello,
Is it possible to remove or disable the default hostname? It's not an issue right now but closer to launch we would like to have it removed/disabled.

The appname.apphb.com one? I think we'll be rolling out "canonical hostname" functionality pretty soon so that people will get redirects if visiting urls with non-canonical hostnames. Would that work for you?

Yeah, that's what I meant. Hmm, can I do appname.apphb.com -> mydomainname.com with CNAME?

No I don't think that's possible - but with canonical hostnames users will get a 302 (permanent redirect) to yourdomainname.com from any hostname associated with the account.
I'll let you know as soon as it's implemented for you to use.
