git push from cygwin git not working
any idea? when i do git push appharbor master, it displays the Password: string but doesn't do anything after that.
currently i like using cygwin mainly for mintty (nicer terminal) and vcprompt (http://vc.gerg.ca/hg/vcprompt/file/81f2675580bd/README.txt - show changed files in git on the command prompt). maybe you guys have alternatives you can recommend for these 2?

We have had other users with similar problems. We recommend using msysGit. You can circumvent the problem by including the password in your repo url. There's more discussion of the cygwin issue here.
