The spdy indicator for chrome does not light up for my site anymore even though it is enabled in settings. For the appharbor.com site it lights up so the indicator seems fine

    Hi,

Yes we had to disable SPDY temporarily on the shared load balancers due to a configuration issue. Unfortunately enabling SPDY on one site would also enable it server-wide, and this was causing issue for a few customers. Apparently SPDY protocol version 2 doesn't work well with some versions of Firefox. Because of that we had to disable it.

We're working on a way to get around this issue and allow for per-site configuration on the shared load balancers as well. SPDY can still be enabled on dedicated load balancers (i.e. application with IP-based SSL) so that's also why it's enabled on appharbor.com.

I'll make sure to update this thread as soon as I have some more information.

    Best,
    Rune
