Pointing TLD to AppHB

I'd like to have my top level .com address point to my site.apphb.com site. Any docs or advice on how to do that? I know AppHarbor's still in early beta, but my app is just a landing page, so I'm not too worried about it.

    Hi Wesley

You can configure a hostname on your application. It says on the hostname page what IP you need to point an A record at (it's 184.72.232.223 right now, but check the page). Let us know if you encounter any problems.

    Hi Michael

I have my A record for my tld.com pointed to 184.72.232.223 and I added my tld.com to the list of hostnames on my application, but I'm getting a 404 error when visiting my tld.com.

    Hi,

you'll need to redeploy your application to propagate hostname changes (simply click the "deploy" link next to the build you want to deploy). I can see that your A record is set up correctly, so it should work after that.

Hostname changes should probably propagate automatically though, we'll fix this so you don't have to manually deploy to make website changes take effect in the future.
