Hi, I am wondering if I can use SSL in my application? I want to
offer a secure connection to people once they login to my
application.
Thanks.

Hi Jason,
We'll support SSL within the next month or two. We might be able to let you piggyback on an *.apphb.com SSL certificate if that would solve your needs?
Best regards,
Rune

Hi Rune,
Thanks for the prompt reply. My app won't be deployed until about July so
your timeline works for me.
BTW, I heard you on Hanselminutes - nice job. That show is what brought me
to you, especially since you mentioned Mercurial support is essentially
done. When will Mercurial support be public?
Thanks
Jason

Great!
Regarding mercurial support, it's nearly there, but we're still ironing out a couple of kinks. Hopefully it'll be available very soon, though I can't give you the exact time - but it has got very high priority, so it won't be long. I'll make sure to let you know when it's ready for you!
Thanks,
Rune

Hi again,
We've added Mercurial support now. You can read more about it here: http://blog.appharbor.com/2011/3/07/better-support-for-mercurial-on...
Best regards,
Rune

Hi Jason,
We support SNI SSL now - you can read more about it here: http://support.appharbor.com/kb/tips-and-tricks/ssl-and-certificates
IP-based SSL will be supported too, though not right now.
Best,
Rune
