App_Data Directory

Sorry if I've missed it somewhere else, but is it possible to preserve the contents of the App_Data directory upon deployment? The app uses ~/App_Data/Uploads to store user uploads and upon new deployment, the app is created in another folder thereby losing that data.

Thanks,

Seth

    Hi Seth,

currently the website directory is not persisted on our side. We're actually looking into options for preserving some folders across deployments, but for now you'll have to roll up you own file persistence with for instance S3.

I'll let you know as soon as we offer the file server capabilities that will address this requirement.

    Best regards,
    Rune

    Great!
It may be quicker if you serve them directly from S3.
