Configure App Settings

How can I avoid storing passwords in my GIT repo? I see that you have a way to configure the AppHarbor DB connection string; pretty nice. Is there a general framework for that?

It would be nice to be able to configure general app settings. Specifically I am trying to avoid exposing my Recurly.com credentials in the repo.

    This is not something we currently support, but you could go upvote this suggestion. It is definitely a great feature, which we will support at some time. The more votes, the sooner.
