Unable to read data from the transport connection: net_io_connectionclosed.
Hello,
I'm having trouble when trying to send emails and get this error: "Unable to read data from the transport connection: net_io_connectionclosed."
I'm using System.Net.Mail. It works on my local server, but is not working in my appharbor instance. I saw that this can be a configuration setting with IIS, but suppose that with appharbor I need some kind of alternative solution.
Can you help me with this?

AppHarbor runs on top of EC2 and it's generally very difficult to send emails with good deliverability from EC2. Regarding the particular error you are seeing, you may have hit the EC2 sending email limit for the instance your app runs on.
There are a bunch of excelent alternatives that ensure good email deliverability:
