Implementing workflows in AppHarbor
Hello,
I have a scenario that fits best Workflow Foundation: a user submits certain information that is forwarded to one a several Web services. I don't want to implement the execution chain synchronously, so ideally there should be a different thread that dispatches the execution.
I haven't found much information on worker thread and workflow
support in AppHarbor. So perhaps first I need to clarify the
following:
1. Is it possible to host WF4 workflows in IIS using AppHarbor?
2. What about IIS hosting of WCF services?
3. AppHarbor pricing mentions worker threads. How can worker
threads be hosted in AppHarbor?
Thanks in advance

1) I've never actually worked with Windows Workflow Foundation, so I don't know if we support that as is. If you try it out, please share your experiences. I'd love to try it out also, but we're quite busy these days.
2) We do support hosting of WCF services.
3) Even though we have announced the pricing, we haven't announced the implementation yet. It will most likely be web hooks where you can schedule or queue URLs to be invoked asynchronously. I guess this somewhat addresses what you are interested in archiving with WF.

Thanks for the answers. I will think about making a simple test workflow and
let you know how it goes.
