Hi,
It's not supported just yet, but we expect to roll out support for ASP.NET Core (and .NET Core) 3.0 across all regions by Wednesday next week. Feel free to give it a shot then and report back any feedback you may have!
Best,
Rune

Hi Rune, is .net core 3.1 supported?
I am getting this error: The current .NET SDK does not support targeting .NET Core 3.1

I created a new project with asp.net core 3.1, instead of migrating the project I already created, but I get the same error.

I tried to open my solution with VS2017 and it says that "Projects targeting versions newer than .NET Core 3.0 are not supported by this version of Visual Studio".
¿Could that affect the compilation process? The error log says that appharbor is using csc from vs2017: Microsoft Visual Studio\2017\BuildTools\MSBuild\15.0\Bin\Roslyn\csc.exe

I created a direct from template web app with .net core 3.1 and it can't restore the packages:
error NETSDK1045: The current .NET SDK does not support targeting .NET Core 3.1. Either target .NET Core 2.2 or lower, or use a version of the .NET SDK that supports .NET Core 3.1.
So I added a global.json with sdk 3.1.100 and now it restores the packages, but the program doesn't compile:
error MSB4064: The "DisableSdkPath" parameter is not supported by the "Csc" task.

Just for kiks, I make exactly the same with .net core 2.2 and works, no problem.
So..?

Hi again,
Just pushed an update to the build servers that should fix this -- can you give this another shot and let me know if you still have trouble building and deploying your .NET Core 3.1 web app?
Thanks!
Rune
