<p>We're still running IIS 7.5, but the plan is to upgrade it to
Windows Server 2012 R2 (IIS 8.5) as soon as we can. However I think
you can get around the issue you describe simply by removing the
file extension registration prior to making your own. I think
something like this should work on IIS 7.5/8/8.5:</p>
<pre>

<mimeMap fileExtension=".mp4" mimeType="video/mp4" /></code>
</pre>
<p>That should solve the difference in IIS version between your
local application and the application on AppHarbor, and make sure
it's ready for the IIS upgrade. Let me know how it works out for
you.</p>
