<p>I can't think of any real good ways to make this work right now.
I think the bitbucket guys could help you out though. If they use
the <code>hg archive</code> command to generate the contents of the
tarball, they should be able to include subrepos by adding the
<code>--subrepos</code> switch (documentation <a href=
"http://mercurial.aragost.com/kick-start/en/subrepositories/">here</a>).</p>
<p>I'll shoot them an email, but you can also give them a
shout.</p>
